CCU — YouTube Upload Automation

Personal YouTube Video Publishing Tool

CCU is a private automation tool developed in Python to simplify uploading and publishing videos to YouTube using the official YouTube Data API.

The application is intended for personal use by its developer to manage video uploads to an authorized YouTube channel. It is not a publicly available service and does not offer registration or access to external users.

What CCU Does

CCU automates video publishing tasks, including:

• Uploading video files to an authorized YouTube channel.
• Submitting video metadata, such as titles and descriptions, when provided.
• Setting video visibility options according to the owner’s configuration.
• Using Google’s OAuth 2.0 authorization to access YouTube securely.

Google API Integration

CCU uses YouTube API Services provided by Google.

Access to the YouTube channel requires authorization through Google OAuth 2.0. The application only requests permissions necessary for its configured video publishing functionality.

CCU does not require users to share their Google account passwords.

Privacy and Security

OAuth credentials are used exclusively to authenticate API requests and perform authorized YouTube publishing operations.
