This Privacy Policy explains how CCU (“the Application”) accesses, uses, stores and protects information obtained through Google OAuth 2.0 and YouTube API Services.
CCU is a private Python-based application designed to automate uploading and publishing videos to a YouTube channel authorized by its owner.
The Application is intended for personal use and is not offered as a public service.
CCU uses Google OAuth 2.0 to request access to the YouTube functionality required for video uploads.
Depending on the permissions granted and the publishing operation, the Application may process:
CCU does not request or store Google account passwords.
Information accessed through Google and YouTube API Services is used exclusively to:
Google user data is not used for advertising, profiling or unrelated purposes.
The Application’s use of information obtained through Google APIs is limited to its disclosed functionality and follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including applicable Limited Use requirements.
OAuth credentials are stored in the private execution environment where the Python automation runs, rather than on this informational WordPress website.
Stored credentials are used only to maintain authorized API access and must be protected from unauthorized access.
Video files and publishing metadata are processed for the purpose of uploading content to YouTube.
CCU does not sell Google user data or intentionally share OAuth credentials with independent third parties. Information necessary to perform authorized publishing operations is transmitted to Google through its official APIs.
OAuth credentials are retained only for as long as they are needed for the authorized automation.
The application operator can remove locally stored credentials and discontinue access.
Requests to delete personal data stored by CCU can be submitted using the contact information below. Such requests will be handled as soon as possible and within seven calendar days where required by YouTube API Services policies.
Deleting locally stored data does not automatically delete videos already uploaded to YouTube. Uploaded videos must be managed separately through YouTube.
The account owner may revoke CCU’s access to Google and YouTube data at any time through:

After revoking access, the Application will no longer be authorized to perform YouTube API operations on behalf of that account. Any previously stored authorized data must also be deleted in accordance with applicable YouTube API Services policies.
CCU uses YouTube API Services provided by Google.
Users should also review:
Google processes information according to its own applicable policies and terms.
This Privacy Policy may be updated if the Application’s functionality or data-handling practices change.
Any material change to the use of Google user data will be disclosed before the affected functionality is used, and additional consent will be obtained where required.
