NookWell Arts Pinterest Tool — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how the NookWell Arts Pinterest publishing tool (“the App”) handles information when used by the business owner to prepare and publish Pinterest content related to the NookWell Arts Etsy shop.

1. Purpose of the App

The App is a private internal workflow tool used to prepare Pinterest Pin drafts based on product listing information from the NookWell Arts Etsy shop.

The App may:

• read publicly available Etsy listing information from the shop owner’s Etsy store;
• connect to the shop owner’s Pinterest account through Pinterest’s authorized OAuth flow;
• retrieve the available Pinterest boards needed for the user to choose a destination board;
• create a Pinterest Pin only after the user explicitly reviews and approves that individual Pin.

The App does not automatically publish Pins without individual user approval.

2. Information the App Uses

The App may process the following information:

A. Etsy listing information

• listing title;
• listing description or product metadata used to prepare a Pin draft;
• listing image URL;
• listing page URL;
• listing identifier.

This information is used only to prepare Pinterest content drafts for the shop owner.

B. Pinterest authorization information

• OAuth authorization tokens required to connect the App to the shop owner’s Pinterest account.

These credentials are used only to perform actions the user explicitly authorizes.

C. Pinterest account information used during the workflow

• the list of available Pinterest boards, retrieved as needed so the user can choose where to publish an approved Pin.

3. Information the App Does Not Collect

The App does not collect or process:

• Pinterest passwords;
• Etsy passwords;
• buyer names, buyer email addresses, shipping addresses, order details, or other Etsy customer data;
• payment card data;
• advertising or behavioral profiling data.

4. Human Review Before Publishing

The App does not create Pins automatically or in bulk without review.

Before any Pin is created on Pinterest, the user must review that specific draft and explicitly decide whether to:

• approve it for publishing;
• edit it;
• choose or change the destination board;
• or skip it.

Only individually approved Pins may be created through the App.

5. Data Storage

The App may store local workflow information needed to operate as a private tool, such as:

• Etsy listing identifiers;
• local review status;
• user-created Pin draft content before publishing;
• authorization credentials necessary to maintain the user’s approved Pinterest connection.

Pinterest account information accessed through the Pinterest API is not sold, shared, or used for profiling or unrelated purposes.

6. Data Sharing

The App does not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties.

Information is transmitted only as necessary to:

• Etsy, when listing data is requested through Etsy’s API;
• Pinterest, when the user authorizes account access or explicitly approves the creation of a Pin.

7. Security

Reasonable technical measures are used to protect stored authorization credentials and local application data. Access credentials are kept private and are not intentionally disclosed to third parties.

8. User Control

The business owner controls:

• whether to connect Pinterest to the App;
• which Etsy listings are reviewed;
• which Pins are approved;
• which Pins are skipped;
• when to revoke Pinterest access through the Pinterest account settings.

9. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to the App or applicable requirements. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
